babettaboss ventilated pull starter adapter

The babettaboss ventilated pull starter adapter is designed for installing a pull starter on the ignition side of the engine. It replaces the original plastic cover and enables easier engine starting using a recoil starter mechanism.

Unlike the standard adapter, this version has ventilation openings in the same style as the babettaboss ventilated ignition cover, so air can flow across the ignition area and help dissipate heat during operation.

The adapter has the babettaboss logo printed on the side.

The adapter is made from heat-resistant ASA material, suitable for use near the engine. Installation requires drilling two mounting holes into the crankcase.

This listing is for the adapter alone. The pull starter mechanism is sold separately, and mounting screws are not included.

🔩 Mounting hardware:
Mounting screws are not included. Recommended hardware to purchase separately:

• 2× M6×60 screws
• 4× M5×20 countersunk screws *
• 2× M6 nuts
• 4× M6 washers
• 4× M5 washers
• 4× M5 nuts

🔩 * Countersunk screws:
The installation video is to be followed. The four M5×20 countersunk screws that hold the pull starter to the adapter are fitted from the inside outwards, so that no thread protrudes towards the ignition coils. A protruding thread can damage the coils on the engine as well as the adapter itself.

🔩 Babetta 207:
The adapter physically fits the 207 as well, but once it is installed the pedal cranks can no longer be rotated all the way round.

🔩 Note:
Installation requires modification of the crankcase. This is a tuning part intended for users with mechanical experience.
