The Babetta reed valve kit is designed for advanced engine tuning and allows installation of a reed valve system onto the original cylinder using the factory mounting screw pattern. No cylinder replacement is required, preserving the basic engine architecture.
The product is sold as a complete kit, including all required components except the carburetor. The carburetor must be selected and purchased separately according to the intended performance setup. The internal diameter of the carburetor mounting connection on the supplied flange is 23 mm, which should be taken into account when selecting a compatible carburetor.
This kit is intended for experienced tuners, as achieving optimal performance requires proper tuning of a larger aftermarket carburetor, as well as modifications to the cylinder and exhaust system.
